Li L9 Flagship SUV: Advanced Range Extension

Li L9 Showcases Next-Level Range Extension and Chassis Intelligence

The Li L9, a flagship electric SUV from Li Auto, redefines long-range and premium driving dynamics with a dual-pronged power and comfort approach. This innovative vehicle is built around an advanced range extension system and a sophisticated chassis control platform, creating a luxury EV that excels in both performance and usability.

Unmatched Driving Range and Performance

At the core of the Li L9 is a 44.5 kWh new-generation NCM lithium battery, supporting an impressive EV-only range of 215 km CLTC and 180 km WLTC. Paired with a self-developed 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, the range extender dramatically boosts the total range to 1,315 km CLTC and 1,100 km WLTC, setting a benchmark for plug-in hybrid SUVs.

This compact yet powerful engine achieves 40.5% maximum thermal efficiency, maintaining low fuel consumption at just 5.9L/100km under CLTC standards. The system can also export up to 3.5 kW of electricity, allowing drivers to power external devices on the go—ideal for camping or emergency use.

The Li L9’s dual-motor all-wheel drive system delivers a peak output of 330 kW and 620 Nm of torque, ensuring powerful acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. This blend of performance and efficiency is what makes the Li L9 stand out in the premium EV SUV segment.

Intelligent Chassis Control for Ultimate Ride Comfort

The L9’s chassis is engineered for superior handling, comfort, and adaptability. Featuring a double-wishbone front suspension and five-link rear suspension, it offers a dynamic and smooth ride under various conditions.

Supporting this structure is a smart air spring system combined with Continuous Damping Control (CDC). These elements constantly adapt to road surface changes with millisecond-level reaction times, delivering consistent ride quality whether cruising highways or navigating uneven terrain.

Centralized Intelligence at Its Core

Enhancing vehicle response and safety, the Li L9 integrates a self-developed central vehicle domain controller. This high-speed processing unit ensures millisecond-grade decision making, enabling precise control over power delivery, suspension behavior, and stability systems—making the L9 not just a car, but a driving assistant.
